FACILITY: Eckville Manor House DEPARTMENT: Food Services
TITLE: Lodge Attendant STATUS: 0.70 FTE - Temporary Part-Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lodge Attendant is responsible to his/her supervisor to ensure a high standard of housekeeping and/or
dietary services in the assigned facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background experience with housekeeping duties
- Background experience with kitchen / dining room duties
- Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals preferred
- WHMIS training, Food Safety course (if applicable) an asset
- Willingness to learn
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ensures completion of housekeeping, kitchen or laundry (lodge or personal) duties.
- Report maintenance issues and/or concerns to Supervisor / Lodge Manager
- Health & Safety concerns are reported to the Supervisor / Lodge Manager
- Assist with scheduling in the absence of the Supervisor / Lodge Manager
- Resident needs are reported to the Supervisor / Lodge Manager
- Assist with handling food and food preparations
- Other duties as assigned
SHIFT INFORMATION
Mandatory Group RRSP for all benefit eligible employees.
Hours per shift: 8.5 Shift pattern: Evenings Shifts per Cycle:
Commencement Date: As soon as a suitable candidate is
found
