About the role
Our client, one of Canada’s Big 5 Banks, is looking to add junior-level Investment Tax Administrators to their corporate team in downtown Toronto .
This is a hybrid role — successful candidates must be comfortable working onsite 4 days a week .
⚠️ Please Note: This is an entry-level opportunity with entry-level compensation and responsibilities . Ideal for recent grads or early-career professionals looking to break into the banking world from a tax and accounting perspective!
🔍 Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Strong communication skills (English – written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Minimum 6 months of tax slip/accounting related experience (internships, school volunteering, etc.)
💼 What You’ll Be Doing
- Respond to Written Inquiries: Handle customer and partner inquiries in a call center environment promptly and professionally, ensuring responses are accurate, clear, and meet established service level agreements.
- Resolve Issues Effectively: Address customer or partner concerns on the first interaction whenever possible, using sound judgment to escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- Provide Tax Information: Deliver accurate and easy-to-understand guidance on tax reporting requirements, processes, and deadlines to customers and internal partners.
- Generate Tax Documentation: Prepare and issue various tax slips across multiple lines of business, ensuring compliance with CRA regulations and filing requirements.
- Support Financial Calculations: Collaborate with internal partners to provide necessary tax-related financial calculations and information to support accurate reporting and decision-making.
📍 Location: Downtown Toronto
🕒 Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)
