Role Description This full-time hybrid Social Media Manager role based in Vancouver, is responsible for managing and growing Liz Moore Destination Weddings’ presence across social media platforms. The position is $50,000 with options to increase pay.
We’re looking for an avid social media user that understands and is often up to date with current social media trends, particularly in the wedding industry! This Social Media Manager will plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content that highlights destination wedding offerings, client stories, and travel tips. Daily activities include editing, developing and executing social media campaigns, monitoring channels, responding to comments and messages, and fostering an active online community. The role also involves analyzing performance metrics, optimizing content based on data. The Social Media Manager will stay current on platform trends and best practices to keep the brand content fresh, relevant, and compelling.
Qualifications Strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to plan campaigns, grow audiences, and improve engagement. Proficiency in Content Strategy and Writing to create clear, persuasive, and on-brand messaging across platforms Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics) and data-driven decision-making. Familiarity with visual content coordination (e.g., working with designers/creators, basic image or video editing tools) is an asset. Ability to manage multiple platforms and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a remote environment. Previous experience in travel, weddings, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is preferred but not required.
