Process Technician

Natures Crops International (NCI), a leading producer and manufacturer of specialty plant oils for use in personal care, dietary supplement, and food industries, has an opening for two (2) full-time Production Technicians at our oilseed processing facility and refinery in Kensington, PE. The Production Technician is responsible for the operation of our oilseed crushing (expelling) equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Equipment setup and operation

• Recording data

• Inventory control

• Equipment maintenance

• Loading and unloading deliveries/shipments and receiving seed

• Keeping facility clean

Qualifications:

• Must be mechanically inclined

• Strong work ethic, reliable, and a positive attitude is required

• Must be able to lift 25 kg (55 lbs)

• Training will be provided

Compensation and benefits:

• $21 to $23/hour
• 4 weeks paid time off

Additional information:

• Shift work required, Monday to Friday
• 84 hours every 2 weeks
