About the role
We are currently looking for a full-time, experienced Medical Office Assistant
Duties:
-
Scheduling, Appointment bookings, reminders, and follow-up calls
-
Greet clients upon arrival and registration
-
Support doctors and other health care professionals by performing necessary administrative tasks and assistance for medical duties
-
Manage client referrals and patient information database
-
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable,
-
Receive payments in a professional and confidential manner
-
Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications
-
MOA certification from an accredited institution
-
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal ( patient service skills and telephone )
-
Ability to prioritize tasks
-
Familiar with medical terminology
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs; strong data entry ability with attention to detail
-
Ability to work as a team and independently
-
Excellent time-management skills
-
Flexible availability
Job Types: Full-time, part-time, Permanent
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends
Job Types: Casual, Permanent, Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
