We are currently looking for anExpeditor -VMI, a self-motivated individual to become an integral part of our team at our Vendor Management Inventory(VMI) inWinnipeg. Responsibilities:

Expeditor is responsible for managing product orders and related documentation for the Alliance group.

• Ensure that all customers’ needs are responded to in an efficient, accurate, and professional manner
• Maintain focus on company policies, procedures, and objectives
• Expedite and conduct follow up on orders and mitigate product shortages/delays
• Work cooperatively with the team
• Perform other duties as required within the department
• Expedite delivery as necessary to meet customer on-time delivery expectations
• Communicate and resolve delivery issues with customers and outside sales representatives
• Recommend changes to improve expediting taking into account customer procedures and practices
• Entering expedite information into AS400.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Must have exceptional organizational skills
• 2-3 years of related industry experience
• Must have excellent Excel, Word, Outlook & Adobe skills
• AS400 system experience an asset
• Valid drivers’ license and ability to travel in Canada and the US
