YOUR ROLE

Forklift

  • Perform tasks related to the use of a forklift, such as moving merchandise within the warehouse.
  • Inspect forklifts, perform minor maintenance, and make repairs as needed.
  • Prepare orders awaiting truck arrival.
  • Supply conveyors.

Truck Shunter

  • Move trucks within the yard and to nearby buildings.
  • Move trailers in the yard and back them into designated loading/unloading docks.
  • Ensure trailers are positioned safely.
  • Load and unload trucks.

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

  • Holding a valid class 1 license is required for articulated truck drivers.
  • Proficiency in spoken French or English.
  • Experience in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks such as coupling and uncoupling trailers.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures for each piece of equipment used.
  • Follow forklift and truck operation procedures.
  • Ability to move boxes.
  • Demonstrate accuracy.
  • Be courteous and polite at all times.
