About the role
Position Summary This position is classified as a full-time permanent role with 40 hours achieved weekly. Each shift will consist of not less than 8 hours per day with one 30-minute unpaid lunch break. This role supports Pro-Western Mechanical’s administrative operations through assistance in travel coordination, fleet management, permit applications, communication handling, expense tracking, and general office support.
Responsibility and Activities
- Coordinate and manage travel and accommodation arrangements for employees.
- Oversee vehicle fleet operations including registration, insurance, keys, maintenance and tracking.
- Apply for permits and schedule inspections as required.
- Manage multi-line phone system and monitor email inboxes.
- Assist with tracking and reporting of expenses.
- Organize and file reports and documentation.
- Handle incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Support planning and execution of company events.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Abilities
- Administrative Assistant Certificate/Diploma required.
- Minimum two years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer aptitude.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in written and oral business communication.
- Typing speed of 50 wpm.
