Your Mission
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing Merlo’s presence in the construction sector by driving new business, securing market share, and delivering strategic equipment solutions that help contractors work smarter, safer, and faster.
What You'll Do
- Hunt for new business: Identify, pursue, and cold call prospects in construction, converting leads into long-term clients.
- Own your territory: Maintain a structured daily approach and build strong relationships with job site visits.
- Sell with purpose: Present compelling business cases that clearly show clients the ROI and productivity gains of switching to Merlo.
- Position yourself as a trusted advisor: Understand customer pain points, deliver tailored solutions, and help clients modernize their methods.
- Stay sharp on competitor pricing, local trends, and market shifts to win strategically.
What You Bring
- Business development expert – you love the thrill of the hunt and know how to open doors that stay open.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction equipment sales or a similar B2B environment.
- Confidence and skill in cold calling, prospecting, and consultative selling.
- Proven history of crushing targets and growing your book of business.
- A self-starter mentality with relentless energy and a winner’s mindset.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and time management abilities.
- Valid driver’s license.
