Position Overview: The Microsoft Planner & Project Plan 3 Consultant will support a targeted Microsoft 365 adoption initiative by delivering a demonstration, configuration guidance, and end-user training for Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project Plan 3. Working with a small group of business leaders, this role will help evaluate Microsoft Planner as a potential replacement for Jira by showcasing core capabilities, recommended practices, and common project management workflows. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging demonstrations of Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project Plan 3 to business stakeholders. Configure and showcase Planner functionality aligned to the client's project and task management needs. Lead one or two interactive training sessions (approximately 45 minutes each) for a small group of leaders. Explain key features including: Task management Buckets and Boards Timeline views Assignments and collaboration Progress tracking and reporting Integration with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 Demonstrate Project Plan 3 capabilities and how it complements Microsoft Planner for more advanced project management. Compare Microsoft Planner capabilities with existing Jira workflows and identify key similarities and differences. Provide recommendations on best practices for adopting Planner within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Answer user questions and provide practical guidance during knowledge transfer sessions. Develop concise training materials or quick-reference documentation, if required. Support licensing discussions by explaining the capabilities available with Microsoft Project Plan 3. Skills & Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project. Strong understanding of Microsoft Project Plan 3 licensing and functionality. Experience delivering end-user training and executive demonstrations. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive. Experience supporting organizations transitioning from Jira or other work management platforms is considered an asset. Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical business users. Experience developing user guides, training materials, or quick reference documentation is preferred.
