Group Division:

At Arrow Engineered Products, we design and manufacture turnkey solutions for a wide range of customers with needs in nuclear, chemical mixing, heat exchanger, and autoclave systems, including fuel storage and various custom-designed pressure and non-pressure systems, all in compliance with ASME, PED, ULC, and API certified design criteria.

Job Description:

The Roll Operator will have hands-on experience operating plate and structural rolls, a strong understanding of radius and diameters, and the ability to assist in general fabrication processes. This role also involves performing some general labour tasks to support overall production efficiency. Experience in beveling, grinding, and welding is considered a strong asset.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate plate rolls and structural rolls according to engineering specifications and production requirements.
  • Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine material dimensions and rolling specifications.
  • Set up and adjust roll forming machines for various materials and thicknesses.
  • Measure and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy in radius, diameter, and overall quality.
  • Perform beveling and grinding tasks as needed for product finishing.
  • Support welding processes where applicable (if certified or experienced).
  • Assist with general labour duties including material handling, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company health and safety policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating plate and/or structural rolls in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
  • Strong understanding of radius and diameter
  • Familiarity with blueprints, measuring tools, and fabrication procedures.
  • Experience with beveling, grinding, and welding is an asset.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to perform general labour and assist in other production areas as needed.
  • Maintain and secure work tools.
  • Clean and maintain the work area.
  • Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Organizational Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Follow all lockout procedures when doing repairs and adjustments.
  • Completion of ITP paperwork.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • High school Education or equivalent, or years of experience combined with education, designations, and certification.

  • Ability to read, write, and possess some advanced mathematical skills

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Knowledge of various industry-related hand tools

  • Experience working safely with lifting devices (Crane, Lift Truck, and other lifting devices)

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 30lbs
