Overview
We are seeking a candidate with knowledge of scientific theories, principles, and practices to support research activities. The role involves conducting experiments, analyzing research results, contributing to the development and refinement of protocols and methods, and assisting with the completion of research projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research requiring in-depth scientific knowledge and application of theory and principles.
- Identify limitations in research methods and recommend improvements to project plans.
- Contributing to decisions on methodologies, equipment, and standards for data collection.
- Review and interpret published literature, summarize findings, and prepare scientific reports, manuscripts, and grant proposals.
- Use advanced equipment, techniques, and software to collect, analyze, and interpret research data.
- Maintain effective relationships with external partners and present research findings at conferences as required.
- Facilitate focus groups with research participants and coordinate project plans.
- Exercise independent judgment in applying scientific principles, interpreting data, and conducting experiments within established protocols.
- Consult with senior researchers or the principal investigator on deviations from protocol.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior researchers or students, including advising on research protocols, techniques, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with related research experience, preferably focusing on mental and/or physical health, workplace safety, or occupational health.
- Previous experience as a research assistant, project coordinator, or customer service role.
