What is the opportunity?
RBC Wealth Management Canada (WMC) is hiring a Snr. Business Analyst, Branch Infrastructure Support role. Reporting to the RBC WMC Director & Head, Advisor Mobility, Data Protection & Branch Infrastructure, you would be responsible for providing ongoing front-office service & support for several products related branch resiliency and hardware, advisor mobility, and application access management. In this Snr. Business Analyst role, you will work closely with the Branch Infrastructure team supporting Branch infrastructure related initiatives, gathering project requirements, performing pre and post deployment testing, upkeeping training material and documentation as well as completing application access reviews & attestations. This role acts as an advocate for DS, RT and PH&N end users and their needs, by seeking ongoing user engagement to inform & support each of the products and services you’re responsible for.
What will you do?
- Gather requirements for product roadmaps and help to deliver on WMC’s digital strategy objectives and align to our business goals, while providing vital insights and actionable analytics to enable strategic decision making as it relates to WMC Branch Infrastructure initiatives.
- Collaborate with our key Business, Technology and Operations partners and maintain strong relationships with Product Owners, Branches/Offices and Head Office partners providing regular updates and communications.
- Support DS, RT and PH&N branch/office users by keeping them informed of strategies, developments and pertinent information affecting user experiences. As a champion of change, you will be responsible for understanding the end user impacts and help with developing a rollout strategy for various initiatives in the portfolio.
- Perform business analysis, requirements gathering, testing and implementation activities from initiation to deployment for minor to major Branch Infrastructure initiatives simultaneously.
- Uphold effective risk & issue management by proactively identifying, documenting, and managing risks and issues, with clearly documented mitigation plans while acting as RBC WMC escalation support for Branch Infrastructure projects and issues.
- As a part of a project team, execute on the successful completion of application risk assessments and application onboarding, maintaining documentation and information pages while identifying opportunities for efficiencies and optimizations.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Strong business acumen and analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Post-secondary education (University or College) or 5 years equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work effectively in situations involving rapid change and shifting priorities, while effectively managing multiple projects (multi-tasking).
- Sound understanding of application Access Management concepts and systems.
Nice-to-have:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Data science background.
- Experience in financial services industry with broad understanding of product management, risk management and end user support.
- Experience with tableau, Jira, Confluence, SalesForce, ClientLink, Broadridge.
- Working knowledge and understanding of brokerage operations, vendor management and/or systems experience.
- Experience working with ServiceNow, Secure API, entitlements and Access Manager
