The Commercial Vehicle Ambassador greets and creates a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, clients and commercial vehicles and fleet. They perform a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of groundside traffic at the terminal level. Delivering service that exceeds our customers/client's expectations. The Ambassador provides customer service and groundside management for Taxi's, Ride Share companies, Shuttle Operators and other commercial fleet entering the terminal pick up area(s). Making sure the public doesn't infringe on the designated area while the commercial vehicles are clear of public encumbrances. The Commercial Vehicle Ambassador works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisors to ensure that cleanliness as well as safety standards are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Must be flexible to work days, nights Monday-Sunday, Holidays and special events.
- Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner and assist if asked.
- Act as traffic controller to direct incoming commercial vehicles to available parking spaces for safe and efficient pick ups.
- Perform vehicle counts on location throughout shift to ensure parkade does not over exceed available spaces - lot full process.
- Perform daily audits of commercial vehicles as requested to compliance with WAA rules & regulations.
- Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed; provide assistance to guests who require help.
- Use respectful communication with the Ground Transportation Liason to assist operators and guests with their questions, problems, and concerns, relay information to Operations Manager if required.
- Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Leads and Airports Operations Team.
- Always communicate professionally with guests, clients, operators and teammates.
- Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Keeping the public vehicles away and out from the commercial operators area(s).
- This is an outside working position and you will be provided proper clothing but please dress for the weather.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

At least 18 years of age
