Exi-Plast Custom Moulding, part of the EFS-Plastics Inc. family, is a growing company specializing in custom blow molding solutions. Located in Centralia, Ontario, we are a full-service provider with over 25 years of experience. We offer cutting-edge molding services to designers, manufacturers, and distributors worldwide. Our versatile blow molding facility is equipped with state-of-the-art robotic trimming and finishing technology, ensuring we deliver products that exceed customer expectations.
With three facilities strategically located throughout North America, EFS-plastics Inc. is a successful, growing recycling company that recovers plastic from residential recycling programs. Your detergent bottles, milk jugs and plastic bags can all end up at EFS, where we turn them into plastic resin pellets that can be used to make new products. Our fully automated processes divert mixed plastics from ending up in landfills, not only reducing waste but also conserving valuable resources and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Position Overview: We are seeking highly motivated and self-driven Production Workers / Machine Operators to monitor and maintain automated production systems while ensuring quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have strong problem-solving skills, and work well in a team-oriented environment.
Currently hiring for Night Shift - 11:00pm - 7:30am Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate the automated production system to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform post-production tasks such as trimming, packing, and assembly.
- Troubleshoot machine alarms and work toward achieving daily production efficiencies.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of finished products using provided tools and training.
- Collaborate with the Shift Lead to meet customer orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Keep work area clean and well-organized to promote efficiency and safety.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by motivating and supporting team members.
- Ensure smooth production handoffs between shifts for continuity.
Qualifications:
- Experience in blow and injection moulding an asset
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and leadership.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
- A proactive attitude with an eagerness to solve problems and overcome challenges.
- Self-motivated, driven personality with a focus on achieving goals.
- High attention to detail, especially in data collection and reporting.
- Ability to lift 20 - 30 lbs
