As a Service Contract Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the workflow of address management and billing coordination quality control and quality assurance of these areas for both commercial and residential waste. This includes managing change orders under the commercial agreement between ENMAX and The City of Calgary as our billing agent. Primary duties include:
- Direct and manage workflow of commercial and address management work groups.
- Assist with billing and contract management.
- Provide quality assurance and quality control for Waste and Recycling Services (WRS) commercial contract work groups.
- Monitor and report on quality of work performed by ENMAX staff on behalf of Waste and Recycling Services (WRS) to ensure alignment with service agreements.
- Develop and manage ENMAX change requests as per the Commercial Agreement with ENMAX including updates to rate categories and rates for new programs as well as annual rate adjustments.
- Manage applications for future service, change of existing service for residential, multi-family and industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) customers.
Qualifications
- A completed 2 year diploma in Business Management, Business Administration or Accounting with at least 5 years experience in Waste and Recycling or related utility experience; OR
- A degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, or a related discipline and at least 3 years of Waste and Recycling, utility or billing and customer service experience.
- Experience using strategic analysis to drive continuous improvement within business processes is essential.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Previous work experience with performance metric reporting; Systems, Applications and Processing (SAP) or the Motorola Customer Service Request (CSR) system will be considered assets.
- Success in this position requires strong organization skills; the ability to work independently and consult with staff at all levels in the organization; excellent judgment and interpersonal skills; and familiarity with project management theory and practices.

Workstyle: This position may be eligible to work from home for at least part of the time as one of several flexible work options available to City employees. These arrangements depend on the operational requirements of the role, employee suitability, and are subject to change based on operational needs and corporate direction.

Compensation: Pay Grade 9 $41.49 - 55.51 per hour
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
Days of Work: This position works a 5-day work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
