As the Chief Crowfoot Learning Centre (CCLC) Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective design, organization, and delivery of training programs across the CCLC. This role works closely with CCLC Sergeants, subject matter experts, and internal and external instructors to support consistent program delivery. Primary duties include:
- Develop, implement, maintain a standardized, defensible syllabus for the Recruit Training Programs (RTP), Direct Entry Officer (DEO) programs, and other programs as required.
- Design and implement scheduling strategies that maintain lesson alignment, mitigate burnout and injury risks, and effectively navigate resource and logistical limitations.
- Coordinate with CCLC Sergeants, subject-matter experts, and both internal and external instructors to support the effective delivery of training.
- Oversee and align RTP logistical components, such as resource distribution, facility usage, and instructor assignments, to support the successful execution of training goals.
- Administer the student management software, ensuring timely system updates, robust security, and responsive user support.
- Manage program-related inquiries, applications, SharePoint content, logistical coordination, and certificate processing for all CCLC programs.
Qualifications
- A diploma (equivalent to 2-3 years of full-time study) in business or planning, social sciences, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience as learning or program coordinator; OR
- A degree in business or planning, social sciences, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a learning or program coordinator.
- Experience in project management or program development is required.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required.

- An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications. Education obtained from out of country must have or be able to obtain, an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for confirmation of equivalent credentials.
