Working in a complex and fast-paced environment, TMX Group’s Human Resources department is a high-performing well-respected team responsible for providing TMX Group and its subsidiaries with the full suite of Human Resources services. In this role, you will champion an outstanding candidate and employee experience. You will guide candidates through the interview process and provide internal support to Talent Acquisition Partners. In addition to coordination tasks, you will partner directly with HR Leaders to build and drive key initiatives around employer brand, campus recruiting, new hire onboarding, talent programs, and many other exciting projects.

This role is hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office) - based inMontreal

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and prioritize a range of recruitment related administrative duties
  • Work closely with TMX’s Talent Acquisition Partners to conduct employment related research, customized screening of qualified candidates, and initial contact of applicants to gage interest level and qualifications
  • Utilize TMX’s applicant tracking system, Workday, to move candidates through the entire recruitment process
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition to generate recruitment related reports and other tasks as required
  • Organize and participate in virtual campus events, job fairs, and other talent acquisition activities
  • Participate in process continuous improvement initiatives by identifying issues affecting the talent acquisition process and providing strategic solutions to mitigate related issues
  • Provide support for other HR teams including Learning & Development, HR Business Partners, and Employee Communications, as needed throughout the internship term.

Key Qualifications:

  • Working towards a post-secondary degree with a focus on Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training & Development or related area
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Passionate about candidate experience and positively contributing to the Talent Acquisition team
  • You’re highly motivated, with strong time management skills, have an ability to work with deadlines and you know when you ask for help if you need it
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office and the Google Suite
  • You have a strong sense of confidentiality, integrity and the ability to deal with sensitive information
  • Impeccable administrative and organization skills along with outstanding attention to detail is a must
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and/or HCM Workday is highly desired but not required -Fluency in both French and English(written and spoken) is required, as this role involves regular interaction with partners and stakeholders in both languages
