About the role
Join Our Team as a Kitchen Assistant! We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our Feeding Futures project — a program dedicated to supporting student success through nutritious food. This is a continuing position for 10 hours per week, scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays, with opportunities to fill in for other casual absences.
As part of the Feeding Futures team, you’ll work under the guidance of the Feeding Futures Manager to help facilitate a food program for students across the district. It’s a great opportunity to make a difference in your community while doing meaningful, hands-on work.
The successful applicant must have Grade 12 or the equivalent, completed a Culinary Arts Apprenticeship Program from an approved college or vocational institution, a valid Food Safe Certificate, and a valid First Aid Certificate.
