About the role

What is the opportunity?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager who is well versed in ServiceNow platform to lead ServiceNow engineering and platform development in RBC. In this role, you will oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, GRC, CMDB, BCM, and other business workflows. You will manage a team of developers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive strategic initiatives to optimize ServiceNow adoption across the organization.

What will you do?

  • Lead a team of ServiceNow developers to deliver high-quality platform solutions.
  • Oversee all aspects of ServiceNow development lifecycle including design, configuration, customization, integration, and testing.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for platform governance, architecture, and security.
  • Partner with IT and business leaders to define the ServiceNow roadmap and align with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Disaster Recovery teams to implement robust workflows and automation.
  • Collaborate with Demand Management / Product Owners to manage sprint planning, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of enhancements and projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, innovation, and adoption of new ServiceNow modules and features.
  • Ensure compliance with change management, documentation, and audit requirements.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Participate in platform governance, change control activities; and ensure compliance with best practices, security policies, and industry standards.
  • Support regulatory / audit compliance, operational resilience, and IT risk management through advanced ServiceNow development and integration.
  • Practice test-driven development with the team.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform development and administration, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise IT operations.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale ServiceNow implementations (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, GRC, HRSD etc).
  • Expertise in scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), integrations (REST/SOAP), and ServiceNow configuration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivation to learn new technologies and concepts.

Nice-to-have:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • ITIL certification.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Background in managing outsourced or distributed development teams.
