Responsibilities: Influence the results, including sales and profit Lead a high-performance team that delivers on the operational efficiency targets. Manage all areas of the facility to ensure business is set up for sustainable financial growth Determine your store’s inventory to ensure high levels of accuracy and minimal losses, while meeting the buying needs of the community Be actively involved and connect with the store’s local community Be part of a Co-operative with more than 100 years of proven success and continuously named a Top 85 Employer in Alberta
Qualifications: Results oriented with a track record of using accountability and performance metrics to drive the right behavior and business outcomes in either themselves or people reporting to them. 5+ years of operational experience in a leadership role in a customer service and operational excellent centered organization. Strong salesmanship skills with a customer focus and the capability to coach and develop direct reports to successful outcomes. Successfully used change management practices to ensure that changes remain in place and benefits were realized. Ability to work collaboratively and take a leadership role within the area Strong planning and organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), SAP, point-of-sale systems in a retail environment
Is a safety sensitive position as will be on site at UFA facilities and will be using UFA material handling equipment. The successful applicant will be required to pass (negative result) a drug and alcohol screening test as a condition of employment.
