About the Role:
Reporting to the Operations Services Supervisor, the Clerk IV performs a variety of standardized administrative tasks within clearly defined procedures. Work is completed under general supervision and requires the ability to apply judgment, select appropriate processes, and resolve moderately complex issues. This role supports operational functions through accurate data management, reporting, and coordination of administrative processes.

- Apply strong organizational skills to proactively meet the department’s day-to-day administrative needs.
- Understand departmental procedures and apply solid judgement and initiative related to job duties.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring smooth departmental operations. Provide training on specific functions.
- Conduct basic research, data reconciliation, and report preparation to support decision-making.
- Manage and maintain records efficiently, ensuring accuracy and easy retrieval.
- Use advanced PC applications to create and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
- Serve as a point of contact, offering information and assistance to both internal and external partners.
- Review work and/or provide support for junior positions or new employees.
- Facilitate office support functions and showcase exceptional customer service skills.
- Contribute to a team environment with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree from an accredited post-secondary institute in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience is required. Previous experience working in the utility industry is considered an asset.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite including: Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Proven track record to establish and maintain professional relations with internal and external customers.
- Experience with Maximo or Oracle would be considered an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
