Administrative Assistant

Position Summary Department: Finance Reports to: Chief Financial Officer Location: Ottawa

Morin Supply is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role supports all areas of the business and helps ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, staying organized, and keeping things running efficiently in a fast-paced office environment. They are proactive, reliable, and able to manage a variety of tasks while providing excellent support to both customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities Assist customers with questions and provide basic account support. Help with customer onboarding and welcome communications. Sending invoices, statements and processing payments. Monitor overdue accounts and help with follow-up reminders. Create purchase orders and assist with basic data entry in internal systems. Help maintain vehicle maintenance and inspection records. Assist with scheduling and tracking maintenance and service requests. Support general compliance and documentation needs. Manage incoming company emails and direct them to the appropriate departments. Provide general office support including filing, scanning, and data entry. Assist with organizing reports and maintaining accurate records. Help with occasional company communications, events, and internal coordination.

Skills, Qualifications, and Abilities Previous administrative or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable using email and basic Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized. Ability to learn new systems and follow established procedures. Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
