Financial Analyst (FP&A)
Location: Hybrid (Canada) Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Compensation: CAD $90,000 - $95,000 + 15% annual bonus
About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Analyst (FP&A) to support financial planning, reporting, and business decision-making within a growing organization in the life sciences sector. This role partners closely with Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, and IT teams to deliver financial insights, improve reporting processes, and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses. Analyze revenue, margins, and business performance. Support sales reporting, GTN reconciliation, inventory analysis, and audit activities. Partner with commercial teams on pricing, profitability, and new business opportunities. Develop dashboards and automate reporting using tools such as Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or Python. Drive continuous process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA designation or progress toward CPA is preferred. 3–6 years of FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Corporate Finance experience. Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP. Experience with Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or similar reporting tools is an asset. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
