About the role
Contract Type : Probationary, with Annual Renewal
Hours of Assignment: 35 per week
Assignment Duration: January 5 - June 30, 2026
Primary Duties will include but are not limited to:

Develop an annual Pastoral Plan and calendar of events
-
Plan and prepare liturgical services for the school
-
Assist staff in permeating faith into all curriculum areas
-
Work in partnership with the parishes to provide sacramental prep programming to students Work collaboratively with all staff and students on developing service projects
-
Respond to students’ spiritual needs in times of loss or crisis Lead prayer services at various times throughout the year
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Education with a focus in theology or counselling OR Diploma in Theology OR Certificate in Religious Education
-
Minimum of two years of experience in either youth ministry or other campus setting
-
Clear understanding of the Catholic Church: its history, tradition, teachings and mission
Skills:
-
Ability to work collaboratively with others of various age range and positions
-
Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
-
Approachable, pastoral, engaging As part of a commitment to Catholic education
