The Role
The Enrolment Services Advisor supports current students, prospective students, applicants, parents, alumni and the general public by providing outstanding customer service and detailed information concerning Northwestern Polytechnic policies and procedures with respect to: admissions, registration, tuition and student fees, financial aid and scholarship information, student records and transcripts, exams, and convocation. The Enrolment Services Advisor is accountable for proactive problem solving and discretionary decision making to resolve student issues. This may concern a broad range of complex issues regarding policies, procedures, or programs, requiring in-depth knowledge and understanding, and accurate interpretation and explanation. The Advisors must work closely with each other, staff in other areas of Registrar’s Office, Recruitment, faculty and department staff and other offices such as the School of Students and the Students’ Association.

Job Requirements
Ideally, the successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' post secondary education and six months of related experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:

Experience working within with students post-secondary setting is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and any student information systems.

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

A high level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and accountability.
