About the role

You estimate damages and ensure that quotes from independent experts comply with the organization’s standards and processes. You draw on your sound decision-making skills to solve technically complex problems and recommend ways that partners can improve. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Estimate damage, analyze and control estimates or quotes from suppliers, and recommend repair strategies to optimize interventions in accordance with the organization’s quality standards and procedures
  • Support experts and respond to their queries regarding the nature of damage incurred, and make the necessary recommendations to settle claims
  • Control, verify and follow up on files that required corrections in order to assess the quality of suppliers’ work and propose actions to be taken

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Intermediate experience with post-loss imaging files
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or client
  • Intermediate knowledge of Xactimate
