Product: Fuel (hauled in super b tankers on line-haul, tandem trailers on winter roads)
Rate of Pay: Per trip paid hourly. Base pay of $28.50 per hour.
Job Location: . Line-haul drivers haul from Winnipeg to tank farms in Northern Manitoba and Northwest Ontario.
Duration: Estimated dates of February to April 2024 (dependent on weather and loads hauled)
Contract Highlights:
- Seasonal drivers are provided round trip airfare OR mileage at the beginning and end of contract
- $1,000 completion bonus available for all drivers who complete the contract (must adhere to incident-free driving and company policy).
- Delay pay at $28.50/hr and $300 reset on the road pay.
- Hourly pay for online, in class, in cab and product training/certification.
- On-site shower and laundry facilities available.
- Opportunity to extend to full-time or full-time rotational following successful seasonal contract.
You bring:
- Min. 2 years’ Class 1/AZ tractor-trailer driving experience with B-Train experience or 5 years driving experience
- Abstract considers past 3-5 years, depending on infraction.
Other Requirements:
- Successful candidate must pass on-site company paid Job Abilities Assessment, Alcohol and Drug screen, criminal record check and reference checks.
- Required to bring arctic grade, flame resistant outerwear and arctic grade sleeping bag.
