Ce que nous recherchons

Nous recherchons un(e) programmeur(euse) gameplay passionné(e) pour rejoindre notre équipe de développement. Tu travailleras en étroite collaboration avec les designers, les artistes et les animateurs afin de donner vie aux mécaniques de jeu et aux expériences interactives de notre projet. Ton rôle sera central pour créer des systèmes fluides, immersifs et narrativement engageants.

Responsabilités

  • Concevoir, développer et maintenir des mécaniques de gameplay variées (interactions, systèmes de progression, combat, exploration, etc.).
  • Intégrer et améliorer les systèmes d'animation (blend spaces, state machines, animation montages, synchronisation gameplay/animation).
  • Collaborer avec l'équipe narrative pour mettre en place des fonctionnalités qui soutiennent la mise en scène et l'immersion.
  • Optimiser et déboguer le code afin d'assurer stabilité, performance et qualité.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les autres disciplines (design, art, QA) pour livrer une expérience de jeu cohérente et engageante.
  • Participer à la conception technique de nouvelles fonctionnalités et proposer des solutions créatives.

Qualifications:

  • Solide maîtrise d'Unreal Engine 5
  • Excellente compréhension des mécaniques de gameplay et du scripting orienté gameplay (C++ et Blueprint).
  • Expérience avec les systèmes d'animation (animation state machines, IK, root motion, retargeting).
  • Intérêt marqué pour la narration interactive et l'intégration du storytelling dans le gameplay.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome tout en collaborant efficacement avec une équipe multidisciplinaire.

What we looking for:

We are looking for a passionate Gameplay Programmer to join our development team. You will work closely with designers, artists, and animators to bring the game mechanics and interactive experiences of our project to life. Your role will be central to creating fluid, immersive and narratively engaging systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain a variety of gameplay mechanics (interactions, progression systems, combat, exploration, etc.).
  • Integrate and improve animation systems (blend spaces, state machines, animation montages, gameplay/animation synchronization).
  • Collaborate with the narrative team to implement features that support staging and immersion.
  • Optimize and debug code to ensure stability, performance, and quality.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines (design, art, QA) to deliver a consistent and engaging gaming experience.
  • Participate in the technical design of new features and propose creative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Solid mastery of Unreal Engine 5
  • Excellent understanding of gameplay mechanics and gameplay-oriented scripting (C++ and Blueprint).
  • Experience with animation systems (animation state machines, IK, root motion, retargeting).
  • Strong interest in interactive storytelling and the integration of storytelling into gameplay.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good problem-solving skills, technical curiosity and creativity.
  • Experience with narrative systems (interactive dialogues, scripted sequences, branching).
  • Knowledge of cinematic tools (Sequencer in Unreal).
  • Experience designing non-player character behaviors and emerging gameplay mechanics
  • Have previously contributed to a published game (standalone or commercial).
