Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform livestock feeding. Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving. Supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly . Track and report on current feed inventory . Treat livestock health issues. Weeding. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Type of crops: Soybeans. Equipment and machinery experience: Milking system (automated). Area of specialization: Dairy cattle.
