About the Job
The Licensed Practical Nurse:
-
The Team Leader coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (CCLPNs), Community Health Workers (CHWs) and other unregulated members of the team, overseeing the implementation of client care plans, providing training and evaluation of care provided by staff, and advocating for changes that improve client care

In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, performs assessments, makes nursing diagnosis, implements and provides personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting.

Operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), and according to organizational policies, procedures, standards and unit specific protocols
This is a Relief Part Time (0.73) opportunity until April 15, 2027, or the return of the incumbent.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days with shift times of 06:30 to 19:00, 14:30 hours.

- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses plus three (3) years of recent, related acute, long-term care or community care experience including one (1) year supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Current, full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Current valid BC Driver’s License
