Detailed JD
Overall 6+ years of experience of experience in using automation tools such as Playwright and should be comfortable with Typescript and JavaScript Experience with JIRA for project management and defect tracking.
Design and develop automation scripts using Playwright
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for Playwright scripting Build and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks Execute end-to-end, regression, and smoke test suites Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (tools including Git/ GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) Test reporting tools (Allure, Playwright reports) Analyze test automation failures and determine the root cause.
Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
Ensure comprehensive test coverage for both frontend (UI) and backend (API, database) components API Testing using postman/REST
Preference
Candidate with experience in Banking Domain
Soft Skills
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong problem solving and analytic skills. Must be a self-starter, reliable, highly motivated, results-oriented, customer-focused and attentive to details. Excellent analytical, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Oversee functional, automation regression execution, integration, and UAT support testing Coordinate with Product Owners, Developers, Scrum Masters, and other Test Leads
Any GenAI, Copilot experience will be cherry on top, but not mandatory as of now (until client specifies)
