Position Summary
CIMCO is looking for a full time Shop Helper to join our team at the Burlington facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a team environment, and wants to be part of a fast-paced operation. The Shop Helper plays a key role in supporting production by organizing materials, assisting with assembly prep, and helping to keep things running smoothly on the shop floor.
Role Responsibilities

Safely handle materials using a pump truck or forklift

Assist Lead Hands with organizing parts and materials for parts and projects

Coordinate with warehouse and shop floor teams to ensure timely material flow

Maintain inventory of materials and parts in designated areas
-
Track and expedite missing materials using internal systems

Support manufacturing tasks such as painting, crating, pipe and fitting prep, and basic assembly
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum High School Degree
- Lift truck license and experience is an asset
- Previous experience in a similar shop or warehouse role is an asset
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to work in a unionized environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
