End Date: November 13, 2026
Location : Vancouver, BC; Hybrid.
Work Type: Contract Background Reporting to the Manager of People Systems & Global Data Owner, the Integration Testing Specialist will support a strategic Transformation ERP project integrating SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA. The Specialist is a meaningful member of the team responsible for end-to-end integration testing activities, ensuring data consistency, process alignment, and system interoperability across HR, Payroll, Finance, and ERP platforms.
This role will be focused on leading the end-to-end testing lifecycle for SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring that any SAP implementation retrofits, third party integrations, and updates meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document comprehensive test plans, strategies, and schedules for SAP SuccessFactors ensuring alignment to program testing strategy and timelines.
- Ensure testing covers all essential aspects, including functional (unit testing), integration, regression, performance, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of integration testing between SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand retrofit requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for integration scenarios.
- Coordinate test data setup and environment readiness across systems.
- Handle defect triage, resolution tracking, and re-testing cycles.
- Ensure alignment with business processes, including employee lifecycle events, payroll, time management, and organizational data.
- Support cutover and go-live readiness activities, including mock runs and validation.
- Provide guidance on test automation opportunities and tools (if applicable).
- Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices.
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in SAP integration testing, preferably with SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA.
- ISTQB or similar testing certification is beneficial.
- Deep understanding of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Business Integration Builder (BIB), and IDoc/API-based integrations.
- Experience with retrofit or transformation projects involving legacy ECC systems and S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with HR data models, organizational structures, and payroll/time interfaces.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-functional project environment.
- Experience with SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, or middleware platforms such as Mulesoft is preferred.
- Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, Jira, DevOps, Tricentis) considered valuable.
- Experience in Agile or hybrid project methodologies is considered an asset.
