Job ID: 26-20791 Job Title: Software Developer - Senior Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite) Duration: 249 Business Days with possible extension Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD $95 per hour Role Overview This role is for a Senior Software Developer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure ecosystem. The successful candidate will translate business and technical requirements into scalable, tested solutions by developing custom applications, integrations, APIs, and cloud-based services while supporting the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding through testing, deployment, and production support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Power Apps, Power Pages, Dataverse, Azure, .NET/C#, JavaScript, Azure SQL, and CI/CD pipelines, combining both low-code and custom development approaches. The role involves configuring customer service solutions, developing integrations with Microsoft cloud technologies, implementing Azure-based services, and collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver secure, high-quality solutions using Agile methodologies. In addition to strong technical expertise, the role requires excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to solution architecture and continuous improvement. Experience with Dynamics 365 certifications, DevOps practices, and Microsoft cloud technologies would be considered valuable assets. Must Have: Experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power platform, and Azure solution design Working knowledge of Dynamics interoperability, integration and capability with other Microsoft cloud technologies Working knowledge of both low code development and custom development on Dynamics 365 Extensive experience developing in Dynamics 365 Customer Experience (case management, Knowledge Management, Customer Service Workspace configuration) Exp with Azure SQL, DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines etc. Role and responsibilities. Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes: Developing detailed programming specifications writing and/or generating code of compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests. Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.
