The Role
The HR Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate HR records, supporting HR processes and documentation, and assisting with regional compliance and reporting requirements. The HR Coordinator works closely with the HR team and internal stakeholders to ensure HR operations are delivered efficiently and consistently.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Process employee change forms (PAFs) and update records in the HRIS system.

Prepare variation letters and supporting documentation.

Coordinate recruitment activities in collaboration with the People Success Lead and HR Manager/Advisor.

Create and maintain new hire files and ensure job description documentation is complete.
-
Prepare compensation recommendations for review and approval by the People Success Lead and HR Manager.
-
Maintain and update the job description library, including coordinating review cycles and version control.
-
Initiate the offboarding process, including completion of termination documentation.
-
Support onboarding and offboarding activities across the employee lifecycle.
-
Track probation periods and key employee lifecycle milestones.
-
Support the People Success Lead and HR Manager/Advisor with parental leave, workation, and absenteeism requests, including preparation of required documentation.

Ensure HRIS records are updated and coordinate with the Global Operations team for follow-up actions

Support regional HR compliance requirements by maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.

Maintain confidentiality of employee records and HR documentation.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role.
-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
-
Working toward or eligible for the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is an asset.
-
Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle administration.
-
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-
Understanding of basic employment standards and HR processes.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
-
High level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
-
Proactive and solution-oriented, with strong attention to detail and process efficiency.
-
Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is considered an asset to support regional communication and HR processes.
Additional Information
Hybrid-based working environment, work from our Calgary, Alberta office three or more days per week.
