Position Summary: While representing the resort and providing a high standard of customer service, the guest services attendant will be answering guest inquiries about the recreation department's products and services. Processing the guest’s requests and taking payment in a professional and confidential manner will be an important aspect of the job. This is a part time to full time seasonal job and the attendant will be required to work on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Delivers outstanding customer service to all resort guests.
  • Responds to guest inquiries in person, by phone, and via the Guest Services email. Inquires may refer to the product and services offered.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of resort offerings, including activities, amenities, stay packages,
  • and directions.
  • Processes transactions (cash, debit, credit) for daily tickets, season passes, rental equipment using resort POS system
  • Issues refunds, exchanges, and credits as approved by Recreation Managers.
  • Facilitates liability waivers.
  • Enforces Horseshoe Valley Resort sales and RFID policies.
  • Completes assigned opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintains a tidy and professional workspace.

Qualifications:

  • POS experience is an asset
  • Customer services skills/experience
  • Proven ability to work under high pressure.
