Video Content Producer - 12 Month Contract
The UMC team works four days a week from our award-winning creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto, and one day to work virtually.
Reporting to the Creative Director, this role will be responsible for creating video and motion graphic content for the company, artists and partners. The ideal candidate will be required create and edit visual content such as lyric videos, promo videos and social assets as well as attending occasional video shoots.
How You’ll Lead:
- Create television & pre-roll commercials for broadcast and online
- Edit and develop promotional videos, such as sizzle reels, interviews, live music sessions, etc.
- Create motion graphic content such as lyric videos, animated album artwork and social media assets
- Shoot, edit and post artist interviews and footage (i.e. video shoot behind the scenes)
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop innovative and creative new ways to promote artists via video content
- Maintain archive of all video assets
- Shoot and edit photos from live performances, and events
- Special projects as assigned
What You Bring:
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition
- Must have motion graphic experience and a keen eye for design
- Knowledge of industry format standards (i.e. broadcast, etc.) is a plus
- Must have some knowledge of video and photo shooting techniques
- Must have some knowledge of audio recording techniques and lighting setups
- Able to work independently in a busy working environment
- Excellent organization, planning and priority setting skills with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines
- Passionate about Social Media and current trends
- Post-secondary degree an asset
