Pay Range: $75,000 - $105,000

The Marketing Lead is a champion for our customers. They will build campaign & communication strategies while driving and implementing integrated customer-first marketing plans for the business across paid, owned and earned channels. They will drive trips & transactions across our Pro, DIY and DIFM customers. Working closely with internal merchandising and cross-functional partners, they optimize current campaigns and initiatives to improve performance. They track progress and communicate results regularly with the 360 businesses to ensure visibility and alignment. They are responsible for leading the team & coordinating campaign details across various internal merchandising and other cross-functional partners to ensure a seamless end to end campaign execution across all channels, providing recommendations and updates to their 360 businesses to ensure visibility and alignment.

Additionally, they will lead a team of marketing specialist(s) in driving marketing initiatives for their respective portfolio

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Execution

  • Provide planning support for annual marketing strategies
  • Develop marketing campaign strategies, leveraging consumer and competitive insights, and business metrics.
  • Lead detailed end-to-end implementation of integrated marketing plans across all channels.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all category-specific advertising production, including campaign details, briefing, creative proofing and approvals.
  • Proactively communicate and engage key partners on all campaign details, from planning & aligning to proofing, and results.
  • Ensure campaigns launch on time by adhering to established processes and timelines; pivot quickly to address market changes or business risks.
  • Update and maintain departmental marketing calendar and supporting materials.
  • Champion The Home Depot brand values across all marketing content and communications.
  • Liaise with US counterparts to ensure effective integration and use of resources.
  • Support additional projects for the marketing team as required.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Reports to the Director of Marketing
  • Marketing Specialist(s)

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel to Store Support Centre for Hybrid days (currently Monday-Thursday in office)
  • Conduct store walks as needed (Home Depot, Competitors and non-Competitors)

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended Sitting

Onsite Work:

In office Mon-Fri (1 Concorde Gate, North york)

Working Conditions:

  • Working in an office and home setting: computer work, camera on virtual meetings, taking support calls
  • Working in stores and/or the Innovation Center
  • Must wear mandatory attire when required (i.e. Steel toe boots, Aprons)

Minimum Education:

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma preferably in business or marketing

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of previous marketing experience

Minimum Leadership Experience:

  • Previous leadership experience is an asset

Certifications:

  • None

Other Requirements/Assets:

  • Advanced capability in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook

  • Bilingual (English/French) will be considered an asset
