About The Role
This position calls for a highly collaborative team member with a creative spark, sophisticated writing abilities, strong communication skills, passion, and self-motivation. You will be tasked with thoughtful problem-solving, that leads into high-caliber campaign concepts and executions, informed by a strategic framework and narrative.
On any given day you might

Work with your creative team partners to develop overarching campaign ideas and narratives

Craft innovative insights and idea statements to connect the “why” of concepts to a strategic framework
-
Create individual executions within an existing campaign – everything from OLV scripts to social content, retail communications and more.

Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and internal reviews

Work with our strategy team to define and hone a brand’s tone of voice across multiple touchpoints, including packaging and brand design

Shape and craft compelling presentation narratives to support and sell through creative concepts
-
Keep up to date with the latest trends and innovations – exploring ways to leverage AI tools to advance our work.

Can condense complex ideas down to efficient and effective copy, tailoring it for different contexts

Has an excitement for their discipline that is contagious – with compelling storytelling skills that captivate clients and internal partners alike

Is fascinated by the difference between digital and physical experiences – seeking out ways to combine the two worlds,

Has experience with 360 shopper and trade marketing programs across a wide range of clients (including CPG, food/beverage, wine/spirits, electronics and toys)
You Bring
-
Degree or diploma in Advertising Copywriting program, or related field

4+ years of experience in marketing communications

Well-rounded portfolio showcasing excellent understanding of campaign development in different communication spaces, mediums and approaches
-
A deep understanding of grammar, syntax and ways to create and leverage tone of voice
-
A roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-it-done attitude
The Ontario pay range for this position is $70,000 CAD to $80,000 CAD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's experience, skills, knowledge, and other job-related factors.
