Position: Brand Manager, eCommerce

Reports to: Digital Marketing Lead

Position Summary:

The eCommerce Brand Manager will lead the development and execution of connected commerce and retail media strategies across key retailer and marketplace ecosystems, with a primary focus on Amazon, Walmart, and Last Mile.

This role is responsible for accelerating profitable eCommerce growth through full-funnel commerce media, digital shelf excellence, content optimization, and retailer activation strategies. Working cross-functionally with Brand, Sales, and agency partners, the successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and strong execution to drive engagement, conversion, and market share growth across digital commerce channels.

Role Accountabilities and Accountabilities:

Commerce Media & Growth Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of connected commerce and retail media strategies across Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, and key omni-channel retailers.
  • Manage full-funnel commerce media programs including Search, DSP, Social and retailer media activations.
  • Develop annual growth plans aligned to brand, customer, and commercial priorities.
  • Identify scalable growth opportunities through analytics, competitive insights, audience strategy, and test-and-learn initiatives.

Digital Shelf & Consumer Experience

  • Own digital shelf excellence across key retail partners, including content optimization, assortment visibility, ratings & reviews, search visibility, and conversion performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class omni-channel consumer experiences across retailer ecosystems.
  • Monitor category trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive activity to continuously improve commerce performance.

Business & Portfolio Management

  • Support profitable eCommerce growth through performance analysis across sales, media, assortment, pricing, promotions, and portfolio strategy.
  • Partner closely with Brand, Sales, and agency teams to align commerce activation with broader business objectives.
  • Support successful online product launches, seasonal campaigns, and retailer-specific growth initiatives.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Analytics, Creative, and external partners to drive integrated execution.
  • Influence stakeholders and help establish scalable connected commerce processes and best practices.
  • Share learnings and identify scalable opportunities across Canadian, US, and global teams where applicable. Leads development of eCommerce DSP and Search media strategy for both Pure Play, Omni and Last Mile.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or related field.
  • 4–7+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, Brand Management Retail Media, eCommerce, Connected Commerce, or Growth Marketing roles.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable eCommerce or omnichannel sales growth.
  • Experience managing commerce media campaigns across Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Instacart, or other retail media platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital shelf optimization, marketplace ecosystems, and online consumer behavior.
  • Experience working with commerce analytics and content syndication platforms such as Stackline, Profitero, Helium 10, Salsify, Pacvue, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with ability to interpret performance data and identify growth opportunities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with syndicated and retailer data platforms preferred.
  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

The Ontario compensation range for this role is $98,900 –$140,600. Church & Dwight’s salary ranges are intentionally broad to provide employees with opportunities for future growth and progression within the company. Actual starting salaries are determined based on internal equity, relevant experience, market competitiveness, and job location.
