Our Licensed Practical Nurse is an important part of our team that provides outstanding care and support to patients and co-workers. They support the team by assisting the physician with tasks that improve the patient experience and the physician’s ability to treat patients more efficiently. They enjoy interacting with patients and help create efficient patient and physician experiences. This role provides patient support and coordinate clinic activities in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner. We are looking for an LPN that is interested in working two 12 hour shifts and one 8 hour shift.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone that is energetic with keen interest in learning and problem solving and contributing to the development of this new organization.

What you will be doing
- Retrieving patient charts in our EMR system and documenting concerns, medications, allergies, and family history.
- Performing various tests, including blood pressure, pulse oximetry, heart rate, temperature, and weight measurements, as well as assisting with ECGs and other diagnostic tests.
- Identifying and flagging serious complaints for physician attention.
- Supporting the physician by carrying out patient care tasks within your scope of practice.
- Explaining investigations and test preparation to patients.
- Facilitating patient flow throughout the clinic and ensuring smooth transitions between appointments.
- Preparing and maintaining patient rooms by stocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness between visits.
- Performing administrative tasks as needed to support patient care.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to PIPEDA regulations.
- Contributing to the clinic’s continuous improvement efforts to enhance operations and efficiency.
What you will bring
- LPN experience.
- Previous experience in a medical clinic or office.
- A genuine interest in patients’ healthcare and well-being.
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a passion for interacting with diverse patients.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a broad range of personalities.
- Comfort and proficiency in a paperless office environment, including familiarity with computers, software, and adaptability to new systems.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in clinic operations while maintaining a commitment to excellence.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
