About the role
Role: Atlassian Consultant Location: Toronto(Hybrid) Responsibilities: Administer, configure, and support Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Jira Service Management (JSM) in a large enterprise environment. Design and implement scalable, governed Atlassian solutions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices. Build and enhance JSM projects, including service portals, request types, forms, queues, SLAs, approval workflows, and automations. Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, issue types, permissions, screens, field configurations, and customizations. Administer Confluence spaces, permissions, content governance, lifecycle management, and migration activities. Design, develop, and troubleshoot Atlassian Automation rules using advanced logic, branching, and smart values. Develop and optimize advanced JQL queries for reporting, dashboards, filters, troubleshooting, and migration validation. Plan and execute Jira and Confluence Cloud migrations, including within-site and cross-site migrations. Perform impact analysis before implementing changes to shared workflows, permissions, field configurations, automation rules, and other platform components. Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend scalable, supportable solutions. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, platform changes, governance, and migration activities.
Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Jira Cloud Administration Expertise in Jira Service Management (JSM) Cloud Experience administering Confluence Cloud Strong knowledge of Atlassian Automation Advanced JQL and reporting experience Experience with Atlassian Analytics Jira and Confluence Cloud migration experience Platform governance and enterprise administration Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Skills: 7+ years of Atlassian platform administration experience. Experience supporting enterprise-scale Atlassian Cloud environments. Strong understanding of ITSM best practices. Experience implementing governance, standardization, and platform optimization initiatives. Atlassian certifications are highly preferred.
