TRIUMF House is a boutique Vancouver guesthouse offering a variety of comfortable rooms and suites to short- and long-stay guests. We provide close and affordable accommodations for national and international visitors to TRIUMF, Canada's particle accelerator centre. We are a home away from home for scientists and researchers.
We are currently looking for a housekeeper to join our team and ensure our guests enjoy their stay.
On a given day, your work may include:
- Cleaning and maintaining of guest rooms and public areas of TRIUMF House
- Organizing work according to turnover and the demands of the guest house
- Working safely with minimal disturbance to guests and staff
- Reporting any requests from guests to the Reservations Office in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensuring outside areas of the house are well maintained and clean and sidewalks and stairs are clear and safe
Are you right for this role?
- You have previous housekeeping experience
- Your timely and organized manner will help you succeed in this role
- Our guests from around the world will appreciate your cheerful personality
- You can maintain positive working relationships with co-workers
- You love ensuring the highest standards of Guest Services
- You are friendly and courteous, and enjoy meeting our guests
Work Schedule: 5 days a week, Wednesday - Sunday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada on a permanent basis (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident).
SALARY:
Annual salary will be $44, 200.00 CAD plus comprehensive employer-paid benefits plan.
