About the role
Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the following position based in Toronto, Canada:
As the HR Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of HR-related tasks across various workstreams. This role requires a strong understanding of HR practices, change management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, HR, Business Leaders). You will report to Canada HR Leader.
We will count on you to:
- Create and manage HR project plans for applicable workstreams.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project leads and follow up with appropriate HR partners as needed.
- Support data management and partner with finance leads.
- Coordinate across business stakeholders (Communications, Operations, Training, Business Leads) and HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, HR People Partners, HR Managers) to deliver on the program.
- Own program materials and library, including role descriptions, assessment tools, onboarding and dual run plans, and training plans.
- Partner with Operations project leads, Business Leads, and Communication Lead on change management efforts, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide regular updates to HR Leader on progress and outcomes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by gathering feedback and recommending best practices.
What you need to have:
- 3+ years of relevant project management experience, ideally managing large-scale HR and business programs.
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
