Location: Greater Toronto Area (Hybrid: Mainly Remote + Occasional Field Work) Type: Equity-Based Contributor (Vesting) Commitment: Part-time (minimum 15 hours/week)

This role requires commitment and belief. It is equity based only, with no salary until reaching safe post-revenue stage. There is a minimum three month trial period before any equity conversation begins. The equity plan is then negotiated per venture, at the start, on a venture by venture basis.

Our teams operate with speed, creativity, and discipline as we bring new platforms from concept to market across multiple verticals, and including mobility, marketplaces, education, and AI-driven services. We are now assembling the core group that will help us launch our next platform in the autotech and car-care space. This is a hands-on venture-building role with the opportunity to grow into a Venture Lead or Venture Officer as the business advances.
Role Overview
The Venture Associate / Venture Partner will play a foundational role in helping the team launch, shape, and grow the new platform. This position blends market outreach, product validation, digital marketing, relationship building, and early-stage operations. It is ideal for someone who enjoys building things from scratch, working closely with founders, and earning long-term ownership through meaningful contribution. You will work in a hybrid GTA model, mixing mainly remote work with very limited and occasional on-the-ground activities (meeting service providers, gathering insights, supporting customer validation).
Key Responsibilities
- Market Launch & Early Operations Support day-to-day tasks involved in preparing the platform for launch Assist in refining service offerings, user flows, and the early customer journey Help shape onboarding processes for drivers, service providers, and partners
- Service-Provider & Stakeholder Engagement (B2B) Build relationships with mechanics, mobile technicians, detailers, and related providers Conduct field visits when needed across the GTA Gather real-world insights from partners to improve the product and experience Assist in creating outreach materials and maintaining a strong service-provider pipeline
- Digital Marketing & Brand Activation Contribute to digital campaigns, social presence, and early brand awareness Help research audience behaviour and test key messaging Support launch content, email sequences, landing pages, and onboarding materials
- Product & Customer Discovery Participate in user interviews and early testing Capture insights that drive product decisions Translate pain points and feedback into actionable notes for the team
- Strategic Input & Venture Development Prepare briefs, reports, and competitive analysis Contribute to weekly meetings, planning discussions, and growth reviews Offer input on pricing, positioning, and early growth strategies
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for someone who is: Motivated to help launch a new venture from the ground up Confident speaking with service providers and external stakeholders Comfortable mixing remote work with occasional GTA field meetings Strong in communication, research, and relationship building Curious about mobility, marketplaces, automotive services, or digital platforms Energetic, dependable, and committed to consistent weekly contribution Excited about earning equity for long-term involvement and ownership Bonus strengths: Digital marketing experience Startup experience or side projects Exposure to product, operations, or B2B outreach
Growth Path
Contributors who show ownership, creativity, and reliability may evolve into: Venture Lead (6–12 months) – Driving a major workstream such as growth, provider operations, or customer onboarding Venture Officer (12+ months) – A senior leadership role as the venture enters scale mode Equity may increase as responsibilities and contributions grow.
