This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Propriétaire de produit logiciel based in Canada. This role offers the opportunity to drive the delivery and evolution of software products within a collaborative Agile environment. You will own the product backlog, translate business and customer needs into actionable requirements, and guide teams toward impactful solutions. Working closely with development, quality assurance, UX/UI, business, and technical stakeholders, you will help shape product direction and delivery outcomes. Your expertise will contribute to prioritizing features, improving user experiences, and ensuring products meet both customer expectations and business objectives. You will play a key role in fostering Agile practices, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and supporting continuous improvement. Accountabilities: The Propriétaire de produit logiciel will be responsible for managing product delivery, aligning priorities with business goals, and ensuring teams have clear direction to deliver valuable solutions. Key responsibilities include: Owning, managing, and prioritizing the team backlog to ensure alignment with product strategy, technical direction, and business objectives. Translating business requirements, customer feedback, and product priorities into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable backlog items. Defining sprint objectives and supporting teams in delivering incremental value through each iteration. Participating in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including PI planning, iteration planning, backlog refinement, system demos, and continuous improvement activities. Collaborating with product management, portfolio teams, solution designers, business analysts, UX/UI specialists, quality assurance teams, and developers to refine and deliver product capabilities. Ensuring backlog items are properly understood, prioritized, sized, sequenced, and ready for execution. Making informed product decisions at the team level while providing clear prioritization guidance to development teams. Breaking down larger features and value streams into smaller, deliverable increments that maximize customer and business value. Validating completed work against acceptance criteria and ensuring delivered solutions meet quality, usability, and business expectations. Identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers while collaborating with stakeholders to resolve challenges. Promoting continuous improvement and contributing to Agile maturity across the team. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings strong product ownership experience, Agile delivery knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams. Required qualifications include: Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs within Agile environments. Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices, preferably within a SAFe or large-scale Agile organization. Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, QA, UX/UI, business stakeholders, and portfolio teams. Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, product delivery practices, and quality standards. Ability to balance business value, technical feasibility, risks, and delivery capacity when prioritizing work. Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to make product decisions, provide clear direction, and challenge priorities when needed with a strong business rationale. Experience participating in PI planning or similar cross-team planning activities is an asset. Familiarity with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent platforms is preferred. Experience delivering software products, digital solutions, or enterprise applications is an asset. Intermediate English proficiency is required to collaborate regularly with internal and external stakeholders in an international technology environment.
