About the role
At Loshen & Crem, skincare is never transactional. We believe in creating meaningful, elevated experiences through deep education, integrity, and personalized guidance. We also firmly believe that life is far too short for compromised skin barriers, misaligned shelves, or disorganized backstocks.
We are seeking a full-time Floor Manager & Senior Skincare Advisor to join our Windermere flagship team. Inspired by the highest standards of experience-led beauty retail, this role is essential to the day-to-day success of our boutique. We are looking for an experienced retail leader who has a deep passion for skincare and is ready to act as a primary driver of our boutique operations.
Additionally, as a Floor Manager, you will be a community ambassador, fostering local partnerships, hosting events, and promoting the brand through guest service interactions and social media. This role combines sales, marketing, and leadership to achieve commercial success and ensure a superior guest experience.
About the Opportunity This position balances advanced, high-touch client consultations with hands-on floor leadership and local brand building. You won’t just be standing behind a counter reading labels; you will be the primary engine of our floor flow—monitoring daily performance, coaching the team in real-time, driving local community reach, and keeping our boutique running like a beautifully oiled machine.
If your personal love language is organizing high-performance inventory by active ingredient stability and you possess an uncompromising eye for visual merchandising standards, you are exactly who we are looking for.
Key Responsibilities: Floor Leadership & Client Experience
Run the Floor: Act as the primary manager on duty, seamlessly managing daily team tasks, floor coverage, and guest check-in/check-out workflows to optimize the boutique experience.
Real-Time Coaching: Lead by example on the sales floor, providing real-time peer coaching and feedback to help the team improve product storytelling, build client connections, and hit daily goals.
Guest Escalations: Serve as the first line of defense for complex client inquiries or customer service opportunities on the floor, resolving them with total grace, empathy, and professional maturity.
Community Engagement & Marketing
Brand Ambassador: Act as a local ambassador for Loshen & Crem, proactively fostering local community partnerships and business relationships in Edmonton.
Event Hosting: Coordinate and host exclusive in-store masterclasses, seasonal promotions, and VIP boutique events to drive local brand awareness and retail growth.
Social Media Support: Collaboratively support the promotion of our unique brands, services, and boutique vibe through guest service interactions and active social media presence.
Boutique Operations & Visual Standards (No Hyperpigmentation on Our Shelves)
Daily Operations: Handle daily keyholder responsibilities, including flawless opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and total floor readiness with absolute reliability.
Inventory Control: Oversee pristine stock replenishment, monitor tester expiration dates, and unbox product deliveries faster than a retinol cell-turnover cycle.
Visual Merchandising: Maintain strict visual compliance. If a premium display is misaligned by two inches, it should bother you as much as someone skipping SPF on a sunny July afternoon.
Operational Presentation: Keep the backstock, treatment transition areas, and communal spaces meticulously organized, structured, and presentation-ready.
Elevated Skincare Consultations
Conduct sophisticated, education-focused consultations. You can effortlessly explain to a client why their skin is purging versus reacting, and rescue a damaged skin barrier with total confidence.
Develop a master-level knowledge of our curated premium brands (like Biologique Recherche and Valmont) to drive product sales and provide personalized routine recommendations.
Qualifications 2+ years of retail management or supervisory experience (Floor Manager, Assistant Manager, Keyholder, or Shift Supervisor) in a premium beauty retail environment, luxury boutique, or high-end clinical spa setting.
Deep, nerdy passion for skincare ingredients, formulations, and clinical routines. (If you’ve ever defended your favorite serum in an intense debate, welcome home).
Experience or strong interest in community networking, event execution, and social media brand-building.
Natural leadership instincts—you don't wait to be told what to do; you survey the floor, see what needs optimizing, and coordinate the solution.
A highly polished, professional, and commanding yet warm and approachable presence.
Exceptional organizational skills and an uncompromising attention to detail.
Open availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends to support business needs.
What You'll Find Here A Masterfully Curated Space: A modern wellness retreat where skincare is treated as a ritual of true health and self-care.
A Dedicated Team: Work alongside an elite group of professionals who value accountability, continuous skin education, and a zero-drama culture.
The Perks: A very generous store and service discount, company events, on-site parking, and advanced ongoing product education that will make your skin and your resume glow.
How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter telling us:
Your absolute holy-grail skincare ingredient and exactly why you swear by it.
A brief example of your management or event-coordination experience in a past retail role.
Applications submitted without a cover letter will be treated like un-sunscreened skin (we will sadly have to skip them).
