The position is 0.8 FTE to 1.0 FTE (32 hours to 40 hours per week)

Family Solutions Group is a vibrant coalition of services and programs. Their overarching mandate is to make wellness possible for children, individuals, and families. The Facility Maintenance Technician will manage the building facilities, work with tenants and other stakeholders, collaborate with contractors, and oversee building presentation to ensure safe and functional facilities.

Facility Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular building and annual equipment inspections

  • Ensure building facilities are in operable condition

  • Complete appropriate cleaning, repair, and maintenance tasks as needed

  • Maintain equipment, grass, and gardens (e.g., snow removal, grass maintenance)

  • Hire contractors for repairs as needed

  • Monitor and maintain camera surveillance system as needed

  • Update emergency protocols annually and share with owners/tenants

  • On-Call for emergencies and after-hours maintenance when needed

  • Parking lot maintenance and enforcement

  • Monitor and manage maintenance requests

  • Attend required meetings related to other arm’s length companies

  • Obtain and approve quotes

  • Order sanitary supplies as needed

  • Maintain good relationships with tradesmen, IT, various staff in the building, inspectors, tenants, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned
