Overview Our Digital Technology team’s goal is to leverage technology and data to drive profitable growth, focus on enhancing customer experience and to further our purpose of 'Celebrating real connections through delicious, planet-friendly food' . McCain has embarked on an ambitious digital transformation across our value chain from Agriculture, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and commercial capabilities to enhance our customer obsession and drive digital rebirth of McCain. As part of this transformation, we are making significant investments in our digital platforms, technology transformations and in building a data driven culture. We are building digital products for our customers, suppliers/growers, and McCain team members to enable digital processes and data-driven automation. About The Role. Reporting to the DT-SLT member, the leader will be responsible for driving the strategic technology strategy and priorities for the Global Snacking business while ensuring a unified approach to successful implementations and driving positive business outcomes. This leader will also develop digital strategy for the Global Snacking division, prioritize investments and ensure applicable global programs land successfully with the right change management oversight.
We are actively seeking a Business Unit Leader for Digital, Technology, and Data to spearhead the technology and digital transformation initiatives within our Global Snacking division. This role will emphasize enhancing customer experience and accelerating product innovation which can be deployed globally. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic acumen, serve as a trusted advisor to the Global Snacking President and Senior Leadership Team, and demonstrate exemplary leadership skills. They will champion the adoption of innovative technologies and data-driven solutions, with a commitment to talent development and fostering a high-performance culture.
This leader will partner with other divisions to build and execute the strategic digital agenda for the Global Snacking business unit.
What You’ll Be Doing.
- Develop digital strategy and investment roadmap in partnership with the divisional president and senior Digital Technology team members.
- Lead and develop a team of technology professionals to design and deliver technology solutions that support the strategic goals of the business unit.
- Collaborate with senior executives, to understand business objectives and provide technology solutions that drive growth and profitability.
- Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders to define, prioritize and deliver the technology strategy and roadmap along with the digital transformation strategic agenda.
- Lead the digital transformation agenda and be the driving force for innovation and adoption of new technologies such as AI, API, Cloud, and Machine Learning.
- Lead technology investment plans, including budgeting, forecasting and business case development. Build business adoption plans, resourcing plans and identify vendor alternatives. Drive change management and business outcomes.
- Partner with and be the trusted partner to other Technology Leaders to maximize enterprise scale, drive global technology solution deployment and ensure change is well managed.
- Work with our global technology group and internal organization to ensure that customer experience, design thinking, scalability, stability, and cost-effectiveness are key aspects of delivered technology solutions.
- Foster a growth mindset and fail-fast culture that promotes continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation.
- Manage multiple priorities and be self-driven to deliver results on time and within budget.
- Partner with business stakeholders to accelerate and improve customer experience, business processes, and partner ecosystem opportunities in alignment with the Digitalization Agenda.
- Lead the movement to global data platforms and the enablement of data driven / algorithm-based processes within the organization.
- Partner with business stakeholders to enable agile and product methodology.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a top performing team with future succession and career advancement in mind through coaching, mentoring and career development initiatives.
- Remove organizational barriers and foster strong teamwork, collaboration, and excellent service delivery.
- Deliver SLA Compliant and secure operations.
- Ensure delivered solutions have robust security and privacy by design and compliance to controls.
- Integrate affiliated entities systems into Enterprise systems as required to support the business strategy while managing cyber and operational risks.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful. This is a high-profile position requiring an experienced and seasoned executive. A dynamic leader with a high level of business insight, passion for innovation, dynamic leadership skills, transformative mind-set, and a hyper-focus on leading the digital agenda and making a positive impact!
- 15+ years demonstrable strategic impact and delivery in the global Information Technology field, operating within an innovative and highly agile customer environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience delivering a world class IT transformation agenda.
- Experience in Digital enablers and New Technologies (e.g., Cloud, Robotics, APIs, AI-ML, DevSecOps, UX, Agile-Product transformation etc.).
- Demonstrated CPG experience in building capabilities in the areas of Commercial, Agriculture, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance and HR transformations.
- Hands-on experience driving definition and enablement of business capabilities and technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Hands-on experience in leading building modern data platforms, data pipelines, AI/ML models and self-service data platforms.
- Has led large teams but comfortable working and influencing in a matrix environment.
- Relevant ERP experience with SAP S/4 experiences a distinct plus.
- Experience in large, complex consumer-oriented, manufacturing or agriculture industries is desired.

Compensation Package : $165,000.00 - $220,000.00 . CAD annually + Bonus eligibility + Long-term incentive eligibility The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
